FEE INCREASES FOR USMLE EXAMINATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY PERIOD EXTENSIONS

Effective January 1, 2011, the fees for those applying to ECFMG for USMLE Step 1, Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK), and Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS) will increase. The fee for those requesting an extension of a Step 1 or Step 2 CK eligibility period also will increase on this date.

The examination fees for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK will increase from $740 to $780 for each exam registration. The examination fee for Step 2 CS will increase from $1,295 to $1,355 for each exam registration. The fee to extend a Step 1/Step 2 CK eligibility period will increase from $50 to $65 per request for each exam registration.

The new fees will be assessed for all USMLE applications and eligibility period extension requests submitted to ECFMG on or after January 1, 2011.

The Hispanic Association of Health Professionals Inc NY, was founded in the year 1989 in the city of New York, by a group of medical professionals, Latinos, in exercise of its career, includes doctors, nurses, dentists, psychologists, laboratory, Pharmacist.

We incorporated as a not-for-profits, from the year 1993, and received our certification as Institution Tax, exempt in the year 2008.

As achieves its objectives:
Through conferences, monthly meetings, individual counseling for New Immigrants, Health Professionals, explaining how best to prepare in their field, to define its professional vocation, and how to get better job opportunities, we also offer Courses, Workshops, Job Fairs.

Our association is strongly committed to its members for community events such as health fairs,At schools, churches, open air, beaches, & Festivals, Performing more than 15 Health Fairs in New York & New- Jersey.

Como logra sus objectivos:
Mediante conferencias-Asambleas Mensuales,Consejeria individual a los Nuevos Inmigrantes, Profesionales de la Salud, explicando como mejor prepararse en su campo,definir su vocacion profesional, y como obtener mejores oportunidades de empleos, ofrecemos tambien Cursos, Talleres, Ferias de Trabajo, Feria de Carrera dentro del area de la Salud, mediante acuerdo con otras instituciones las cuales ofrecen entrenamiento en el area.

Integra a sus miembros a eventos comunitarios tales como feria de salud, en escuelas, Iglesias, Al aire libre, en playas,& Festivales, Realizando mas de 15 Ferias de la Salud en New York & New Jersey.

Ofrece Asesoria y apoyo a Fundaciones , las cuales realizan labores Humanitarias tanto en USA, Como en otros Paises.

Ofrece becas Honorificas de Observacion en Hospitales e Instituciones Medicas Privadas en Diferentes ciudades de USA, Hasta el Momento mas de 17 Medicos Residentes ha participado en este programa,
desde residentes de Medicina interna , Siquiatria, Cirugia, hasta Anestesiologia.

En nuestro 21 Años de fundado hoy por hoy podemos decir que somos la institucion que mas profesionales de la Salud recibe de america latina en la costa este de Estados Unidos, y seguimos creciendo..
