About Licet Valois. Licet Valois V., is a social worker, who specializes in dementia care. She works at the Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter as the Manager for Latino Outreach. Her responsibilities include educating the community at large about Alzheimer's disease, its management and impact particularly in the Latino community. She provides individual and group counseling for caregivers (relatives/professionals) and individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other dementias. She is also in charge of the publication of En Español, a 20-page Alzheimer's Newsletter in Spanish distributed nationally and internationally. She has worked with the elderly community from different perspectives for over ten years now.

Miss Valois possesses a Master's in social work from Hunter College, a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from New York Institute of Technology, and a Post-master’s Certificate in Aging and Mental Health from Brookdale.

Desde el 2006, el Dr.Pacheco, es conferencista del Canal 35 en Nueva York y escritor de temas de Salud y Belleza, Cosmetología e Imagen Corporal Revista Esmeralda (SPA) New Jersey. Desde el 2007 ha sido el Director Asistente de Quality Management (Neurocirugia, Neurologia, Cirugia General, Cardiovascular y Pediatria) Harlem Hospital en New York. Además es conferencista internacional sobre Nutrición Clínica y Enfermedades Neurológicas, Diabetes Mellitus, Envejecimiento Humano, Demencia, Depresión Nerviosa, VIH e Impacto Social del VIH, Violencia Domestica, Crecimiento y Desarrollo Humano.

Dr. Pacheco is a Doctor of Medicine, a Specialist in Neurosurgery and Microneurosurgery, and a Certified Nutritionist Specialist with a Master of Science in Human Nutrition.
