Durante el pasado taller organizativo, de nuestra XII Feria anual de la Salud, del Sabado, Abril, 6, el Dr.Restituyo, anuncio, que el programa "Atrevete USA", Se estara presentando en la XII Feria anual de la Salud, la cual sera celebrada el Domingo, 23, 2013, en la Escuela Herbert Richardson School, ubicada en el 318 Stockton St, en Perth Amboy, en Horario de 8am-3pm.

La Asociacion Nacional de Enfermeras Hispana ,capitulo de New Jersey, representada por Ana Nogueira, & Sulema Rosario, solicitaron formalmente, a la Organizacion Dacanji, traer esta iniciativa de "Muevete USA", Para reducir el Sobre peso y la Obesidad, en la poblacion Infantil Hispana.
Este Programa incluye demostracion de ejercicio , talleres, demostracionde comer saludable, se filma un video, la cual recoge todas las actividades realizadas, durante el dia.

Included Health workshops, a pumpkin patch, games, art tables, a DJ, Zumba dancing, a healthy lunch and snack and a raffle with prizes that contribute to children’s health.

Educa a los latinos y su familia a cerca de la Dieta, Actividad Fisica

Muevete (Move) USA, guided by nurses and led by youth, seeks to educate Latino children and their families about the importance of healthy diets, physical activity, food labels and empowering children to make healthy choices.

What do you get when you add enthusiastic Hispanic nurses and nursing students, low-income Hispanic children, healthy eating information, and a little bit of Latin dancing? Muevete (Move) USATM!

Muevete (Move) USATM, a pilot program designed and executed by members of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN), was possible thanks to a $150,000 grant from The Coca-Cola Foundation.

It draws inspiration from First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign. Muevete (Move) USATM seeks to equip young nurses with the skills and passion to short-circuit the pervasive cycle of childhood and adolescent obesity in the Hispanic community.

“We are delighted to partner with NAHN and this important health lifestyle training program,” said Frank Ros, Vice President, Hispanic Strategies for Coca Cola North America. “This program is pivotal in helping to create healthy, sustainable communities.”

“We’re proud of the student members of NAHN, as well as the experienced NAHN nurses who worked together to change the attitudes and behaviors of children in low-income Hispanic communities,” reports NAHN President, Ana Nogueira, , RN,
