Breve Biografia de Rafael Nuñez

Is the Vice President of Disla Clinical Research Corporation, also known as Disla Research Institute, a company he co-owns with his brother Dr. Rene Nunez. The focus of this company is to impart courses that help foreign medical professionals work in the pharmaceutical industry. Rafael is in charge of the language development division and has put together a Basic English Conversational course that is presently being developed and imparted in NY, NJ and PA with the help and support of AHPSI. With the Basic English Conversational course Rafael is helping medical professionals improve their speaking and understanding of the English language, which is an important part of their studies to pass tests such as the US Medical License Exam (USMLE) and to use in their everyday life.


Rafael Nuñez, autor del libro: “Being a Man in a 2k+ Century


As an author Rafael published his first book “Being a Man in a 2k+ Century” in 2010, which can be found at http://www.2kpluscentury.com. His extensive background and direct interaction with people give him a strong understanding of the world around him, which he uses to write about situations that occur in everyday life. He also demonstrates a great command of the English language in his writing and his English courses. Rafael has vast experience in the language field. From 2010 through 2012, he imparted his Basic English Conversational course in the Dominican Republic. He opened the doors of his first institute in 1998, where hundreds of students acquired certificates in Basic Conversational English and Computer use. He attended Rutgers University with a mayor in computer science and a minor in writing.

Presently Rafael also works in Quality Assurance at Sanofi Aventis following his career in the pharmaceutical field. He joined the pharmaceutical field in 2005 starting as a Scientific Affairs Specialist in Johnson and Johnson, where he worked for five years. In 2004, Rafael graduated as a nurse from FCTI in St. Augustine, Florida and worked at an Alzheimer’s unit in Cypress Village as a charge nurse.

Rafael is married with a new born child and has two wonderful teenagers from a prior marriage. He was born in Bronx, New York and was culturally fortunate to grow up traveling between the United States and the Dominican Republic.
