Death report of 5 US Food ® employees, in Perth Amboy.

Perth Amboy is a city located in Middlesex County in the state of New Jersey with more than 50,000 inhabitants, with a 78% of Latino residents, of which it is estimated that more than 52% is of Dominican origin. Perth Amboy, is at the top of the report list of most cases affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, with more than 17,000 positive cases, and more than 1,200 deaths, to this day.

The appearance of COVID-19 in the United States has brought us a sad reality, a global collapse of all health-related institutions, such as the nursing home hospital system, CDC, including OSHA, and many factors about the corona virus we are still learning about.

The editorial of New York times yesterday June 22, 2020, which reports that meat processing plants have the highest index of COVID-19 contamination sources.

PERTH AMBOY, US FOOD 5 EMPLOYEES DIE:

A consequence of this crisis is what we are denouncing on this occasion, which is occurring in the city of Perth Amboy, with the company US Food ® which operates in the city, with more than 300 employees, in which they have already had 5 employees die without any local, state or federal authority having initiated any preventive measures yet to date.

The most worrisome thing is that this company US food®, a company dedicated to the distribution of restaurant food, with more than 28,000 employees throughout the country, and more than 70 stores, this company is currently donating food contaminated with the virus-crown in the city of Perth Amboy, and other cities which is why we understand that it will be difficult to stop and slow down the spread of COVID 19, in this city of Perth Amboy. The consequences of all this so far is the report of 5 deaths, which The New Jersey State Department of Health has not reported it.
«I called our mayor Wilda Diaz several weeks ago, asking them to start an investigation, without getting a response from her,» said Dr. Carmen Cecilia Ramirez, who was saddened to see her brother Mr. Ygnacio Felix Ramirez, an employee die from US Food.

«No one has passed through here doing massive tests, despite these 5 deaths,» said Juan Carlos, a US Food employee, consulted for this report.

That is why we are calling on the entire city council of the city of Perth Amboy, and our Honorable Assemblyman Yvonne Lopez, also on the governor of the state of New Jersey, Hon.Phil Murphy, to formally request the corresponding institutions like the health department, OSHA, an investigation into these 5 deaths, so we can prevent more deaths in this city.

I extend this call to the Honorable Dominican Consul of the state of New York, Lic. Carlos Castillo, which also includes the state of New Jersey, to join the investigation in tracking the relatives of the deceased, to provide testing for all employees, and determine the safety of food, in order to prevent this company from continuing to contaminate its employees and our community.

It is about preserving the life of our community in the city of Perth Amboy, it is about bringing peace, and tranquility in this city that has seen hundreds of patients die.
