The XIX Annual Community Health Fair, organized by the Dominican American Community Association, promises to be an exceptional event that celebrates the strength and resilience of the Perth Amboy community, which has faced unprecedented challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fair will take place on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the Dr. Herberth Richardson School, located at 362 Stockton Street, Perth Amboy, New Jersey, from 9am to 3pm, and is open to the whole family.

This year’s health fair aims to provide the community with much-needed support in the form of various free medical exams. The fair will offer a range of services, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol screenings, and blood sugar tests, among others. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about preventive measures that can help them stay healthy, such as healthy eating habits, exercise, and stress management.

The fair promises to be a fun-filled event for the entire family, with plenty of entertainment and activities. Visitors can look forward to games, prizes, and other exciting surprises, including music and dance performances that showcase the cultural richness of the Dominican American community.
