2. Advanced Practice Licenses:

These licenses allow for specialization in specific modalities, requiring additional training and certification beyond the general radiologic technology license. Some examples include:
- Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist: Requires additional CT training and certification.
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist: Requires additional MRI training and certification.
- Mammography Technologist: Requires additional mammography training and certification, including mammography physics and breast anatomy.
- Bone Densitometry Technologist: Requires additional training and certification in bone densitometry for measuring bone mineral density.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Requires completion of a Bachelor’s degree program in Nuclear Medicine Technology and passing the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Exam.
