Recordamos con respeto y gratitud al Dr. De León, quien falleció el miércoles 6 de noviembre de 2024, dejando un legado imborrable en la comunidad de salud.

Con gran tristeza y amor en nuestros corazones, la familia de Luis Gabriel De León anuncia su partida el 6 de noviembre de 2024, a la edad de 69 años, rodeado de su amada familia en su hogar en Filadelfia, PA.

Luis Gabriel, mejor conocido como Gaby, nació el 1 de diciembre de 1954, en Samaná, República Dominicana, un hombre orgulloso de donde era y su tierra natal. Desde joven, se destacó por su gran corazón, su estilo, su amor por la familia, y su firme fe en Dios. A lo largo de su vida, Gaby fue un hombre de principios, un ser humano sabio, humilde, y siempre dispuesto a ofrecer su ayuda y consejo a quien lo necesitara.

Fue un padre ejemplar, un hombre de familia. Gaby deja un legado de amor y sabiduría que perdurará por generaciones en sus hijos Rosemary, Luis y Gabriel, a quienes educó junto a Australia con valores firmes y les inculcó la importancia de la unidad familiar. También deja a su esposa Australia, quien siempre fue parte de su vida y su familia.

Graduado en medicina y consejería, Gaby se dedicó al bienestar de los demás a través de su trabajo como psicoterapeuta. Fue un hombre profundamente leído, apasionado por la política, la música, y siempre dispuesto a compartir su conocimiento con quienes lo rodeaban. Su presencia era la de un líder sabio, un hombre de paz y de fe, que no dudaba en dar palabras de aliento y guía a todos los que lo buscaban.

Gaby fue un cristiano devoto, activo en su iglesia, guiado por una fe firme y profunda. En su vida diaria, enseñó el verdadero significado de la fe en Dios, el amor incondicional por la vida y la familia y la importancia de mantenernos unidos como comunidad. En cada acto, reflejaba la bondad, la generosidad y la misericordia de su creador.

Deja un vacío inmenso en la vida de su familia, amigos y la comunidad, pero también deja un legado de amor y fe que vivirá por siempre en nosotros. Gaby no solo fue un hombre que vivió con propósito, sino que nos enseñó a todos lo que significa tener verdadera fe en Dios y ser un miembro valioso dentro de la sociedad.

El velatorio será realizado el domingo 10 de noviembre de 2024 en Lamb Funeral Home, ubicado en 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. El horario de la velación será de 12:00 PM a 2:00 PM, seguido del servicio de 2:00 PM a 3:00 PM.

Luego del servicio, la familia invita a todos los amigos y seres queridos a unirse en un momento de recuerdo y celebración de la vida de Luis Gabriel, en su hogar en 8420 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19152, donde compartiremos alimentos, refrescos y viviremos el espíritu de su legado.

Aunque lloramos su partida, sabemos que su alma descansa en la paz de Dios y que su espíritu sigue vivo en nosotros. Hoy y siempre, su memoria vivirá en nosotros.

With great sadness and love in our hearts, the family of Luis Gabriel De Leon announces his passing on November 6, 2024, at the age of 69, peacefully surrounded by his beloved family in Philadelphia, PA.

Luis Gabriel better known as Gaby, was born on December 1, 1954, in Samaná, Dominican Republic, a man proud of his heritage and homeland. From a young age, he stood out for his big heart, his style, his love for his family, and his strong faith in God. Throughout his life, Luis Gabriel was a man of principles, a wise, humble man, always ready to offer help and guidance to anyone in need.

He was an exemplary father, a man who valued family above all. Gaby leaves behind a legacy of love and wisdom that will endure through his children Rosemary, Luis, and Gabriel, whom he raised alongside Australia with strong values, teaching them the importance of family unity.

A graduate in medicine and counseling, Gaby devoted himself to the well-being of others through his work as a therapist. He was deeply knowledgeable, passionate about politics and music, and always willing to share his wisdom with those around him. His presence was that of a wise leader, a man of peace and faith, who never hesitated to offer words of encouragement and guidance to those who sought him out.

Gaby was a devout Christian, active in his church community, guided by a deep and unwavering faith. In his daily life, he taught the true meaning of faith in God, unconditional love for life and family, and the importance of staying united as a community. Through every action, he reflected the goodness, generosity, and mercy of his Creator.

He leaves behind an immense void in the lives of his family, friends, and the community, but also a legacy of love and faith that will live on forever in us. Luis Gabriel was not only a man who lived with purpose but also one who taught all of us what it truly means to have faith in God and to be a valuable member of the family.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home, located at 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. The viewing will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

After the service, the family invites all friends and loved ones to join in a time of remembrance and celebration of Luis Gabriel’s life at his home at 8420 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19152, where we will share food, refreshments, and the spirit of his legacy.

Although we mourn his passing, we find comfort in knowing that his soul rests in the peace of God, and that his spirit lives on in us. Today and always, his memory will live in our hearts.

May our loved Gaby rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
