Who We Are
AHPSI is a non-profit professional association with 36 years of service, supporting healthcare professionals and students across the United States.
Important: AHPSI is not a school or institute. We are a community-based professional organization that provides training guidance, certification preparation, and career orientation through our network of members and partners.
Our Mission
To guide, support, and promote the professional development of the Hispanic healthcare community in the United States by facilitating access to training, certification, workforce integration, and career growth.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must be 18 years or older. Prior healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

- Phlebotomy
- EKG/ECG Technician
- Patient Care Technician
- Nursing Assistant Certification
- Physical Therapy Assistant
- Surgical Assistant
- Mental Health Technician
Program Format
- Accelerated 5-week program
- Tuesdays & Thursdays | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (ET)
- Virtual, in-person, or hybrid options (depending on the program)
Certification
Programs prepare students for national certification. Many employers in New York accept national credentials; additional requirements may vary by position.
