Immigrated to Philadelphia PA in my teenage years and where we now proudly serve our community by providing mental health services in 2 locations.
She has an associate degree in business administration, from the University of Pennsylvania, through her 2 mental health clinics, she represents a staff of more than 75 employees,
Harmony wellness Group Inc. was established in 2017 with the goal of providing accessible and quality mental health services in our city. Dr.Gustavo Pérez, married to Luz Pérez. Father of 2 daughters, Luz Mercy Pérez, received a bachelor’s master degree in medical research, from the renowned Stanford University, Palo Alto, California. Alberlys Perez, she also graduated from the master’s research at Rutgers ,the State University, of New Jersey.
Dr. Pérez graduated as a doctor from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo UASD, Dominican Republic, trained in radiology through the Central University of Venezuela, has a master’s degree in clinical counseling through the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo , UASD, has a professional license in clinical counseling from the State of New York, also has a certification in addictions, from the state of Pennsylvania, resides in Philadelphia for more than 28 years, working in different mental health clinics, occupying different positions, until reaching the currently of which he is the executive director of 2 Harmony Wellness Group mental health clinics.
He is co-founder of the Valle delaware-philadelphia branch Dominican medical college, the first and only association of Dominican professionals, in the state of Pennsylvania, specifically Philadelphia, co-founder of the cooperative of Dominican doctors, for 22 years, co-founder of the medical congresses international schools of the Valle Delaware Branch Medical College, he has been an advisor to these institutions on several commissions, both in Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, and the Dominican Republic, representing these institutions, always advocating for services to our immigrant health professionals, he was co-founder of the master’s program in clinical counseling, through the autonomous university of Santo Domingo, which has graduated hundreds of professionals in this area.
Dr. Pérez is a political activist, from which he has fought for the adequate representation of our professionals and the community in general, representing the health sector within.
Currently, Dr.Gustavo Perez is president of the Dominican Medical Association, Valley Delaware-Philadelphia affiliate, and is also president of the organizing committee for the 20th anniversary celebration of its annual international medical congress of this institution, which represents medical professionals from the state of Pennsylvania, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
His work has been recognized by several institutions both in the United States and also in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Pérez is the staff manager at the mental health clinic, Harmony wellness Group, with 2 offices, located in the city of Philadelphia, which assists more than 2000 clients in the area of mental health.
In his 28 years of practice as a mental health therapist, Dr. Pérez has cared for hundreds of children, adolescents, adults and the entire family, helping them over time to overcome the challenges for life which represents the stigma of health. mind, in our community.

Biography, Leopoldo Sanchez.
Leopoldo Sanchez, born in the Dominican Republic, has lived in the city of Reading, Pennsylvania for 22 years. He started as a warehouse employee, from which he climbed to become the owner of supermarkets, founding the “supermarket chain SuperNatural Produces”, his most recent project representing the development plan in the North Fourth Street area of Reading, Pennsylvania. His entrepreneurship has been recognized by the Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce, as business person of the year, through his supermarket chain represents sources of employment for hundreds of families, from the reading area, and other cities in Pennsylvania Leopoldo from his position as supermarket owner and businessmen has favored churches, sports organizations, with donations, which through the years have allowed these organizations to fulfill their mission, it is a great honor to recognize a humble businessman, symbol and example for new immigrants from the state of Pennsylvania, they can fulfill their dreams by imitating this great example of Leopold.

Shaira Arias, born in the Dominican Republic, raised in the Bronx, abandoned her entire career and future in modeling, to dedicate herself to journalism, graduated in journalism at the renowned university of Fullerton, California, since her arrival at the telemundo network in the city of Philadelphia, has set the standard in its dedication and detachment towards our Latino community, in this area, its work during the covid 19 pandemic, was key to raising awareness and bringing calm to our community, our organization Valle delaware subsidiary Dominican medical school , feels honored and grateful that Shaira Arias is with us today receiving this humble recognition.
Shaira Arias is an Emmy Award winning multimedia journalist for NBC 10 and Telemundo62. She can be seen weeknights on Noticiero Telemundo62 at 6pm and 11 p.m.
Shaira joined NBC10 and Telemundo62 in February 2020 and enjoys connecting with her audience and sharing their stories. As a bilingual reporter, she is passionate about creating a bridge between the Spanish and English-speaking audiences. Shaira loves covering the culture, soul and history of Philadelphia and its surrounding area.
“I love the diversity in its residents; there are people from all over the country that live in Philadelphia,” said Shaira. “The stories in Philadelphia are constantly making national headlines which challenges me every day as a journalist.”
Prior to joining NBC10 and Telemundo62, Arias served as a multimedia journalist for two years at WUVP-TV. Prior to that, she worked as a field producer, freelance reporter and assignment desk editor for KMEX-TV in Los Angeles.
Shaira graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and concentration in Broadcast Journalism. She has been nominated numerous times for her work and in 2019, she was recognized with a Mid-Atlantic Emmy® Award in the Human-Interest category for “Cosecha Sin Frutos” (Fruitless Harvest), a story about the hardships that immigrant agriculture workers face in the fields picking crops.
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Shaira comes from a supportive, Dominican family and was a candidate for Miss Dominican Republic USA in 2014. When she’s not covering news, Shaira enjoys traveling, spending time with family, watching movies and volunteering at local community events.
