you have not received the DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited dental school in the US or Canada, you are eligible for limited licensure in Massachusetts, which allows you to practice under the supervision of a fully-licensed dentist in a public health clinic, dental school, hospital, or prison. The application for initial dental intern limited license lists all the necessary requirements and documents to be submitted. That application may be found on the Board’s web site, http://www.mass.gov/dph/boards/dn under Licensing/Applications and Forms/Limited License. Private practice is not allowed with a limited license.
The exam is “open book,” that is, the answers are found in documents on line, and these may be used when the exam is taken. Our regulations will likely change within the next couple of months, as we will soon begin to register dental assistants. Therefore, the exam may change soon, as well. So, we are sending the exam only to those who plan to apply right away for a license.

Nuestra asociación
Ahpsi [Asociación hispana de profesionales de la salud, Inc., NY] empezó como
un simple grupo de profesionales los cuales se reunía el último viernes de cada mes en el hospital Bronx Lebanon, en el condado
del Bronx, New York, EE-UU, hace 30 años, surgió sin nombre, integrando primero médicos y luego
profesionales de la salud Bioanalistas, Dentistas, Enfermeras, Psicólogos,
Farmacéuticos, y más tarde técnico de
la salud. Aunque fue fundada por
profesionales de origen Dominicano, siempre ha aceptado a todos los latinos, de
hecho hoy por todos los latinos son
bienvenidos, orgullosamente decimos que
nuestra asociación no tiene distinción entre un Dominicano, Cubano, Colombiano o Ecuatoriano, para mencionar algunas nacionalidades.

SIEMPRE EN EL 1989:
Pero en ese
año en que se fundó el ahpsi, 1989, estaban ocurriendo en el mundo, grandes
eventos los cuales marcaron a la humanidad en ese año, entre ello la caída del muro de Berlín, después
de 28 años, también en el año 1989, empezaba la caída de la cortina de hierro de sistema comunista de Rusia, Es el periodo conocido como el periodo del
fin de la guerra fría.

En la
ciencia se otorgó el premio nobel de medicina a J. Michael Bishop & Vermus, por su descubrimiento del primer oncogén
humano, el cual ha permito entender cómo se producen los tumores.

de la cultura podemos destacar al
gran cantante Elton Jhon, con su publicación
del álbum, “Sleeping with the past”, dentro del cual se encuentra su canción más famosa “Sacrifice”.

Professionals, Inc., NY] started as a simple group of professionals who met the
last Friday of every month at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital, in the Bronx County,
New York, USA. , 30 years ago, emerged without a name, integrating first
doctors and then health professionals Bioanalysts, Dentists, Nurses,
Psychologists, Pharmacists, and later health technician.
Although it was founded by professionals of Dominican

iron curtain of communist system of Russia, It is the period known as the end
period of the cold war.
