Our inaugural congress arrives at a pivotal moment for regional medicine, where pressing challenges—from brain drain and precarious working conditions to the rapid advance of artificial intelligence and emerging epidemiological threats—demand coordinated, cross-border responses.

It is with great enthusiasm that we extend this formal invitation to participate in the First International Congress of the Colegio Médico Dominicano (CMD), to be held on March 18–19, 2027, at our headquarters in the Dominican Republic.

This space will allow us to harmonize ethical standards, standardize clinical protocols, and exchange frontline experiences that only face-to-face, multilateral dialogue can foster.
